Save Me
Will you save me from this pain?
It’s killing me, I believe.
Just hold me tighter
And my heart will stop bleeding.
I know you don’t love me,
And I hold on to that.
But no matter what I do,
My heart will hold on to you.
They say true love is
Letting go of someone you can’t have.
But why can’t I?
Why is my heart holding on so tightly?
Maybe I’ll never know,
Maybe I’ll feel like this forever.
Who knows what the future might bring
On to someone like me.

What do you want to be saved from?
What is hurting you so bad?
What is it that you are holding on to, That is making you so sad?
I made the poem for my crush,
He was the first to read it.
Pain that he didn't like me the same way,
I can't let go of him, despite what people say.
I was telling him what I was going through.
The pain in my heart was holding on,
Why couldn't it let go?
I've liked him for so long,
Then I decided to let him know.
He was the first person to read this,
And he liked it, to say the least,
He likes all my poems, even if my friends don't.
He's a 'dark' person, just like me,
I've found comfort telling him about my pain.
He tells me about his, too.
And asks me questions he wouldn't dare ask others,
Mostly through email and notes we talk, though.
He can make me laugh in my darkest of moods.
WHy doesn't he start a blog. Instead of just always reading yours, maybe he should share his thought to.
hi this is cara i just wanted to say i absolutely love this poem and that i am sorry i never realized you felt that way. do you know what i mean by that? It's like i never really knew you and now that i think about it you feel(or felt i am not sure anymore) the same way i do about him and trust me i understand. Oh and I LOVE YOU!!! teeheehee. by the way he makes me laugh even when i feel like the world is falling apart and i just can't go on anymore. he seems to have that effect on people.
